Shield
Shield invited me to photograph the opening of their new Lisbon office. The goal was to capture the space, the people, and the company culture in a way that felt both authentic and professional, creating visual assets for institutional communication and an exclusive image library.
Expertise
The project involved the photographic coverage of the opening of Shield’s new Lisbon office, from preparation to execution. This included direct coordination with the client, moodboard development, event planning and on-site organization, as well as the creation of a complete photographic set covering the space, architectural and decorative details, portraits, and atmosphere shots throughout the event.
My approach was to photograph the event in multiple layers, ensuring a complete and versatile visual narrative. I began by photographing the office without people, focusing on the architecture, interior design, and details of the space. I then moved on to capturing people interacting naturally with the environment, followed by moments of collaboration and work, highlighting team dynamics and daily routines.
In addition, I documented the opening speeches, as well as the more relaxed and informal moments during lunch and social interaction.
This methodology allowed me to cover all the client’s needs and resulted in the delivery of more than 250 photographs, providing Shield with a rich and exclusive image bank for future use.
